Asia Open Data Partnership (AODP) celebrated Open Data Day 2021 (which takes place annually on the first Saturday of March) with six countries, including Taiwan, Japan, Thailand, India, and Cambodia!
With the speakers as well as chair of AODP Dr. Chi-Ming Peng(Taiwan), Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Hung from AVU&C(Vietnam), Hal Seki of VLED(Japan), Sitansu Sekhar from MeitY(India), Surachadt Sasipongpairoj of DGA(Thailand), and Thy Try of ODC (Cambodia) online, sharing best practices that use open data among these countries.
During the event, Professor CK Farn of the Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) showed us the function and usage of the Asia Open Data Portal(dataportal.asia). We also invited the winners from the year 2020’s Asia Open Data Challenge to share their experience of using the platform “dataportal.asia”.
